The Hungarian Kyokushin Karate celebrates it's 30 years anniversary in 2006.

A little Kyokushin history!

The first Hungarian Kyokushin Dójó was opened in Budapest by István Adámy in september 1976.

He was 1st kyu that time and he did so by his first master Attila Mészáros's inspiration.
30 new students were taking part on the first official training in Budapest. Later in the same year another dójó also was opened by his student in Székesfehérvár.
In 1977 he got Sho Dan from the president of the European Kyokushin Organisation and he was appointed for the first branch chief of Hungary.
From that time by his hard work the Hungarian Kyokushin became worldwide.
